You may feel that your site would benefit from, or requires, some content which changes on a regular basis. Perhaps you want to inform customers of current special offers or members of a community or group of news which affects them. You may wish to add newly completed work to a site to create an online resource, starting from the ground up. It is in situations like these that the web really comes into it's own - allowing you to keep in touch, inform and provide information without directly contacting each individual whom it concerns without requiring any more effort on their part than to visit your site periodically.
Should you decide that you would like content of this type to be included in your site, one service we offer is to manage your site. This will involve us being contracted to update and maintain your site on a regular periodic basis, adding new content where provided. You will be charged for this work when it is completed, although the periodicity and volume of work is to be agreed in advance. However, you may wish to be able to change content as and when you wish without our help.

Aftercare

Our aftercare service is most usually associated with the more complex sites we develop, often where replacing sites with existing functionality and regular traffic. Although pre-launch testing can help make this hand-over a smooth and painless process we may feel that a guaranteed service for your users can only be provided if a programmer is on hand to resolve issues for a time after the launch.

This service can also be used to assist you in using and running a complex site during the first few days, via a messenger-style system. For this reason, aftercare can be arranged during the design of the site if not included in the initial quote.

Testing

Simple sites will often require very little testing. Under these circumstances no extra charge will be levied to ensure the site is perfectly functional upon launch. However, as the functionality of a site becomes increasingly complex more diverse methods of testing become necessary incurring a further charge.
Usually this can be done comprehensively ourselves, charged on a daily basis, as detailed in our quotation. Occasionally, especially where interactivity is key to your site, we will choose to employ test-users not otherwise involved in the creation of the website to help highlight issues concerning functionality and user-friendliness. This is usually charged for by the hour, reflecting the fee being paid to the test-user.
